Cheryl Geissler
President

Cheryl is Amanda’s Mom and recently moved to Vista, California to be closer to
her grandchildren, Lindsey, and Derek. Cheryl has a bachelors degree in
Accounting, is a licensed CPA and is a Accounts Manager for UCSD. Amanda
encouraged us to see the best in every situation, she could find the good in
everything and everyone. Amanda inspired everyone to dream a little bigger, be a
little kinder and to show up for life every day. Cheryl thanked God every day that
she was the lucky one chosen to be Amanda’s Mom. To honor Amanda, Cheryl
will try to spread kindness and light every day!

Tom Seaholm
Treasurer

Growing up in Chippewa Falls, Tom and his brother were raised by their parents
and grew a love of sports. Playing baseball, football and basketball was a good
part of Tom’s life, where he learned many of the skills that have taken with him
into the business world. Graduating from UW-La Crosse with a Finance degree,
he began his career working in financial services and transitioned that into a
commercial banking career for the past 8 years. Tom is currently the Vice
President of Business Banking for WNB Financial in the Eau Claire area, and am
leading our growth by being the trusted financial advisor and premier regional
partner for small businesses locally.
Tom has three wonderful children: Addy, Brady, and Rylee. Their family dog Arlo
rounds out the daily chaos, but they wouldn’t have it any other way. When not at
work, they can usually be found at a local field or gym watching and/or coaching
the kids’ teams. If it’s not a sporting event, they enjoy camping with many family
and friends, playing golf and traveling as much as they can.
Tom is proud and honored to be a part of Amanda’s Foundation. As neighbors to
Amanda’s parents, Jeff and Cheryl, the Seaholm family has gotten to know the
family very well and enjoyed sharing so many great memories and unfortunately

some of the worst ones. The Geissler family’s love of each other has come
through during this tough time and is being carried on through this wonderful
foundation. Amanda’s desire to help others will continue to be this group’s
driving passion and Tom can’t wait to see the wonderful things we’re able to do in
her honor.

Lindsey Carlyle
Secretary

Lindsey is Amanda’s little sister who looked up to her sister in all aspects of life.
Lindsey lives in California with her husband (Derek), daughter (Ayla), and son
(Hayes) and is a high school science teacher. Lindsey, like Amanda, graduated
from UW-Stout where they both played basketball and earned their undergraduate
degrees. Amanda’s sense of adventure, mental toughness, and acceptance of
others are just a few of a long list of things Lindsey always admired in her sister.
Lindsey is honored to be checking #25 off her sister’s bucket list, and will
continue to spread Amanda’s light with as many people as she can through the
work of the Amanda Geissler Memorial Foundation.

Heidi Arciszewski
Vice President

Heidi first felt Amanda’s impact back in 1997 when Amanda volunteered to help
coach Heidi’s 4th grade basketball team. Little did she know, 5 years later she
would be sharing the court with Amanda as members of the Thorp Girls’
Basketball team, and later as collegiate competitors. Amanda and Lindsey simply
felt like sisters.
Amanda may have never known the influence she had on Heidi – Not only was
she instrumental in growing her love for the game of basketball, but she set a
standard in the way she lived. What she admired most about Amanda is the way
she made everyone feel like the most important person in the room. Heidi feels
fortunate to have experienced #12 and #28 on Amanda’s Bucket List. She vows to

start each day with a grateful heart and to find joy in the simplest of things, just
as Amanda would.

CARLA CLOSS
Member

Carla graduated from Lake Holcombe High School and Chippewa Valley Technical
College. Today, she lives in Ladysmith with her husband Mike, and works at Rusk
County Health and Human Services. She’s blessed with two grown children,
Carter and Camryn, who continue to bring joy and pride into their lives.
Amanda wasn’t just her cousin—she was Carla’s friend. Alongside Lindsey, the
three of them shared countless memories growing up, and that bond only
deepened as they became adults. They laughed together, cried together,
celebrated life together, and most importantly, shared an abundance of love.
Mike, Carter, and Camryn were also fortunate to be part of those cherished
moments, and they carry Amanda’s spirit with them too.
Being part of this foundation is a true honor. Carla knows what Amanda stood for,
and it brings her immense joy to help share her light with others. If you were
lucky enough to cross paths with Amanda, you’d feel her warmth instantly. Her
smile radiated kindness, and within moments, she’d make you feel like a lifelong
friend.

Through this foundation, Carla is committed to continuing Amanda’s
legacy—spreading kindness, shining her light, and living out her motto: “Make it
Happen.” Her spirit lives on in all of us, and she’s proud to help carry it forward.

Tracy Lau
Member

Tracy is a close friend of Amanda’s, always up to nothing but shenanigans but no
doubt making the best memories. They first met during their college years at
Stout, thanks to a random dorm roommate assignment with Amanda’s sister,
Lindsey. From that moment on, Tracy quickly became a beloved part of the
Geissler family as much and Lindsey and Amanda became a part of her family.
Tracy lives in Eau Claire, WI with her husband Andy and their children Everly and
Graham. For her, being part of the Amanda Geissler Memorial Foundation is more
than a role, it’s a personal mission to carry forward Amanda’s legacy of kindness,
strength, spontaneity, purpose, and unwavering love. Amanda wasn’t just a
friend; she was a guiding light, a confidante, and the kind of person everyone
hopes to have in their life. Tracy is dedicated to ensuring Amanda’s spirit

continues to shine through the work of the foundation—spreading joy,
compassion, and a little more love in the world, just like Amanda always did.
